If one were a powergamer, what would be the best character in terms of raw unfettered killing power? I hear good things about the paladin, but are there other grossly overpowered builds and/or classes worth looking into?
I'm also interested in 'broken' classes, I seem to recall something about a bard or possibly a warlock build that could pretty much charm at will i.e. a social monster, does anyone have a link?
And are there any wuss classes such as the fighter that I should stay well clear of?
Yeah, I'm finally getting to play - in a killer D&D game! And by 'killer', I mean a game run by a sociopathic killer DM. I need Teh Power to survive, help a brother out!
More Dmg, better Initiative, better saves against Fireball Dmg.it's all good. We only need one Feat for this build, so hopefully, the +2 Dex bump from Elf and +1 from a Feat (see below) max you out. If not, maybe it's time to think about taking that 4th Lvl in Fighter to top off. Through this build, you can focus the enemy’s spellcasters by engaging them in melee. Your high damage output will then allow you to make short work of these constitutionally weaker characters. The Pole arm Master feat is best utilized by using your smite spells to significantly boost your damage per attack. Optimized Character Builds Core Rules Only.
